Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actress, performer, and writer, best known in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she started her professional career as an actor on stage in Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. In the following years, she appeared in many Broadway productions before making it huge in the national theater scene with Li'l Abner's in the year 1957. She also released her first album of music, It's Time For Tina that same year. Louise debuted on the screen in Hollywood as God's Little Acre, a film released in 1958. She played Griselda the main character of the film. In the years prior to this, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. The next role she starred in was from 1964, when she signed with CBS to play Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise Balfour managed to play between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character opposed her perceived image as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In the last few years she's also been the most sought-after director for popular television series such as Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 29th August in 1965. The family moved to Toronto when she was three. The city was her home for the duration of her childhood there as well as her adolescence. Her home was in Vancouver after she was selected for the role of Samantha Carter.
