Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid was born in Vietnam and is of Chinese origins, however her father Winston Barrett Munn comes from a Southern family. Olivia was only two when her parents divorced. Her family consisted of her stepfather as well as her mother who was an United States Air Force member. Although the family was spread throughout the world, her principal home is Tokyo, Japan. In the years that followed she performed in several local theatre productions and later was a model within the Japanese fashion business. Olivia relocated from Japan to Los Angeles when her family had moved back in America. United States to follow her aspirations of becoming an actress. She started her acting career in a tiny role. Her career then gained momentum when she was hired as Mily Acuna in the Hawaii-lensed television show Beyond the Break (2006). In 2007 she appeared as Rob Schneider's Receptionist. She hosts podcasts "Formula D", "The Daily Nut" as well as "The Daily Nut". The passion she has for surfing is something she's continued following the television show Beyond the Break. She also holds an unofficial black belt in Taekwondo. At the age of two, her mom remarried. This time she married a US Air Force serviceman. Family members have moved around several times, but she was a majority of her youth in Tokyo Japan due to the fact that it was the location where her father was stationed. She attended her studies at University of Oklahoma, where she earned a degree in journalism. She also minored in Japanese and dramatic arts.
