Hayley Orrantia is an American performer, songwriter and actress. The majority of people recognize her by the title of Erica Goldberg, from the show 'The Goldbergs' on television. But, she is to be primarily as a musician. At the age of 9 of age, she began exploring music. When she reached the age of 12 her music took more serious form and she began to train professionally. She began songwriting when she was 13, and she was just 14 when she released her debut album of covers songs. It hasn't turned to the past since. Orrantia is a native of America, but has Hispanic roots. Although she spoke only English growing up and had never been to Mexico Orrantia is proud of her Hispanic heritage. In order to maintain the tradition, she's studied Spanish and created songs that are in Spanish. The singer recorded a Spanish version of a song called 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia appeared on The X Factor during its first season, in summer 2011. Orrantia was awarded the X Factor's four "yeses" to the panel of judges on the Seattle live audition stage following having been selected from her YouTube entry. At first, she auditioned as a soloist, she along with three female singers were grouped in the final auditions in "Hollywood Week". They were eliminated during the 5th week in the Live program.
