Hayley Orrantia is an American actor, singer and songwriter. Many people recognize her as Erica Goldberg in the comedy TV series 'The Goldbergs'. Her definition of herself is the best musician of all. At the age of 9 of age, she began playing around with music. At the age 12 she was taking the music seriously enough that she began studying professionally. When she was 13, she started creating songs. The first time she recorded an album when she was 14. It has been non-stop since then. Orrantia is a native of the USA but has Hispanic roots. Her family has Hispanic roots even though she only spoke English when a young girl and her whole life was in the United States. She strives to maintain it through learning to speak Spanish and writing songs in the language. "Hasta Verte" is a song in Spanish which she recorded can be a perfect instance. In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the first Season of The X Factor. The Orrantia's YouTube video was chosen and she was awarded four "yeses" which is a vote, from the judges at The Seattle audition. The first time she auditioned, she was an individual performer. However, following "Hollywood Week" and three other female performers were put in groups to take part in the auditions. They were eventually eliminated at the end of the fifth show.
