Catherine Bell, a tall and athletic performer, was born London, England. However she emigrated into Los Angeles, California with her mom when she still was a young kid. Although she had intended to study pre-medicine in college, she left to pursue modeling as a profession in Japan. Following a stint in commercials her return to L.A. to made guest star appearances on TV shows and do minor film assignments. Isabella Rosellini hired her in 1992 to serve as her naked physique double. In the filming of the show, Death Becomes Her she came across Adam Deason (her future husband). After appearing on JAG on NBC, JAG she wrote to the producers of JAG expressing her interest. JAG shifted to CBS in 1996 and she was a part of the show as Sarah Mac Mackenzie.
